Cars & Coffee: A Summary
2024. My season ended early with a heart attack on September 23rd. I am forever grateful for the skilled EMT’s, the ER staff and the ICU at the Medical Center of Vermont whose skills and professionalism saved my life. Thank you, thank you.
I photograph cars with the people who love them and of all the events, VAE Cars & Coffee in South Burlington and Central Vermont Cars & Coffee are my favorites for their diversity, passion, and camaraderie. The event at University Mall in South Burlington has grown to over 200 of the most spectacular collector cars in Vermont. It’s the most fun two hours of the month. The communal automotive knowledge and attention to detail is astounding. These vehicles are all works of art, every one, lovingly maintained and joyfully shared. It makes my heart swell, no pun intended. Are we having fun yet?

There it is.
And now, we put our cars into storage. With Mama in her kerchief and I in my cap, we all settle down for the long winters nap. Let’s get on with it.
